Many thanks to all our partners and campaign supporters to date!
I totally support the campaign that women must be represented in both local and national politics. Its a national scandal that despite being a supposed equal opportunities country we are represented so disproportionately by women.
Over 100 Leeds women of all backgrounds signed a petition in support of women’s suffrage in 1866 and it’s shocking that we still need a campaign for greater representation of women in politics in the 21st century.
The WEA has a long history of encouraging women into politics and public life through education, confidence building and campaigning skills and is committed to building on this.
I back this campaign wholeheartedly.
A great and timely campaign. Significant politically, socially and educationally.
The WEA has always stood for democratic engagement and enabling people to develop the confidence and awareness to participate in this. Women into politics – Yes! Yes! Yes!
Howdy! This is the second time visiting now and I really just wanted to say

I hope this is alright with you, I’m trying to give your great blog a bit more visibility. Be back shortly.
Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was super
long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any suggestions for newbie blog writers? I’d definitely
appreciate it.
Hi Not sure if this is spam or not but assuming it is not, we’re fairly new to blogging ourselves, but key I believe is to know who you are writing for, keep posts short (under 200w), categorise and tag correctly. If you would like any more info please contact me on abirch@wea.org.uk
